An army of lovers can only ever be an army of the unfinished. These figures bear traces of fracture, disguise, desire and transformation. They appear not as fixed identities, but as shifting presences: layered, altered, vulnerable and defiant at once. Part mask, part memory, part body, they resist easy explanation. What unites them is not perfection, but exposure — the visible remains of becoming. They do not ask to be explained. They simply insist on being seen.
